Is World Ventures a Scam?

World Ventures is a MLM Travel Company founded in 2005 by founders Mike Azcue and Wayne Nugent. The company is located in Plano, TX.   Members can book and sell travel through their websites.World Ventures Members visit exotic places

Their flagship product is their “Dream Trips Membership“.  A Dream Trip is luxurious trip to exotic destinations, it could be cruise, or something else special.  The trip is offered to the members at a discounted price.  It costs $199 to become a Dreamtrips member and then $24.95/mo is automatically billed to you unless you cancel.

Their other product is called the “Leisure Travel Consultant” or LTC for short.  This package will give you a website called Rovia that you can use to book your own travel and sell travel to others.  This allows to become and internet travel agent, competing with Expedia, Travelocity and Orbitz.  It costs $199 as well and $24.95/mo.

From time to time, Worldventures will offer sign-up incentives so that you may get both packages for the price of one.

The opportunity

The compensation plan is based on a binary MLM plan.  Generally, this is an easier compensation plan for most people to work with and make money.  You can get a full look at the compensation plan by clicking here.

If you read some of the forums, one of the caveats that many people point out about the company is that you can book similar trips to a Dream Trip through websites like Expedia, Travelocity and Orbitz for the same price or less and you won’t have to pay $300 per year for the privilege of doing so.  In fact I tried to use their website to book an airline trip once but was able to find a better price elsewhere.  However, to be fair that can happen with any vendor and  the travel industry is a huge industry in the trillions of dollars, so there is room for everyone.

The big question that most people ask themselves when reading this is if World Ventures is a scam or not.  In other words, will they lose their hard earned  money if they join.

Well, it is certainly possible to lose money with World Ventures as it is with any business venture.  However, that does not make World Ventures a scam.

The big drawback that I find about World Ventures is that they don’t teach any internet marketing skills.  They mainly teach a system of getting your friends and family to take a look at the company.

That is a good method and works well for some.  It would only be fair to point out that many the top leaders in World Ventures have  used that method.  However, for many people that method may not work very well.  They may be members of the “NFL” club (No Friends and Family because you already talked to them about a half dozen other opportunities).

Other people may want to work faster and smarter and they want to learn how to  leverage the power of the internet.  People like that or people within World Ventures that want to be able to grow massive residual income using the internet should probably use a system like this one.  CLICK HERE

I recently heard that there are over 200,000 people per week online looking for an opportunity.  So, if you are considering World Ventures and it suites you, I say go ahead.  However, you will definitely want to employ a marketing system like My Lead System Pro if you hope to capture some of the folks that are out their looking for a business opportunity like you.  You can learn how to get  20-30 leads per day with a system like that.

IF you want another point of view,  Steve Hawk did  a nice review over here.
